Cookie notice
A short account of the cookies Packet Vertex Point may store in your browser, and how Accept and Reject on the banner work.
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. This site is a static brochure for packet loss and connection assessments. It does not require an account. The banner on your first visit lets you accept or reject analytics cookies. Either choice leaves the pages, the inquiry form, and the phone number working.
Types we use
Essential. A record of whether you pressed Accept or Reject, so the banner does not return on every click. Without this record we cannot remember your choice, but the rest of the site still loads.
Analytics. Only if you accept. These help us see which field notes are opened. They are not required to request an assessment.
Cookie table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| packetvertexpoint_cookie_consent | Stores Accept or Reject so the banner stays hidden | Until you clear storage, or about twelve months in ordinary browsers | Packet Vertex Point (this site) |
| packetvertexpoint_notes_ref | If you accept analytics, counts which field note was opened | Six months | Packet Vertex Point (this site) |
How to manage or disable cookies
Use Accept or Reject on the banner. You can also delete stored data in your browser settings for packetvertexpoint.digital. Blocking all cookies may cause the banner to reappear; it will not block the inquiry form.
Third-party cookies
Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts and photographs from Unsplash or Pexels. Those organisations may set their own cookies or similar files when the font or image is fetched. We do not control their notices. The assessment inquiry itself is sent only to our mock form endpoint and, when we reply, to our mailbox.
If you disable analytics
You will still read the method, the rates, and the notes. You will still be able to request a capture date. We will simply not count which article you opened.
Personal data around inquiries is described in the privacy notice.
