Terms of engagement

By requesting a date, paying a deposit, or sitting with us during a capture window, you accept these terms. If you are booking on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company.

The work

We measure packet loss and connection quality on the communication apps you name — typically WhatsApp voice or video, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or a desk-phone app — and we write what we find. We do not sell software, internet access, cabling, or headsets. Anything outside the chosen visit, including arguing with a provider on your behalf, needs a separate written note.

Booking and intake

A capture window is held once we have a completed intake and, where required, a deposit. You are responsible for access to the rooms, the apps, and any recordings you want us to line up against the log. If a landlord refuses cupboard access, we still measure from the desk and record the limit in the report.

Your materials

Call recordings, staff names, and patient or customer details you share remain yours. We use them only to match timestamps. We will not join a session that includes children as patients or pupils. You must not send us recordings you are not allowed to share under Malaysian law or your own policies.

Our materials

The report, path sketch, observation sheet, and readout notes are written for your internal use. You may share them with a landlord, internet provider, or staff member who needs the timestamps. You may not republish them as marketing, resell them, or present them as someone else’s measurement. Packet Vertex Point keeps copyright in the wording and diagrams.

Accuracy

A measurement describes the path during the windows we sat with. Networks change after rain, after an ISP night job, and after someone moves an access point. We do not promise that a provider will act, or that a later Monday will match last Tuesday.

Liability

We are not liable for lost sales, missed clinical decisions, or staff disputes that continue after a readout. Our total liability for a booking is limited to the fees paid for that booking, except where Malaysian law does not allow a limit — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud. Nothing in a report is legal, medical, or engineering certification.

Confidentiality

We keep intake notes and reports confidential, except where you ask us to speak to a provider or landlord, or where a Malaysian court or regulator requires disclosure.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts in Kuala Lumpur have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting either party’s right to seek interim relief elsewhere if needed.
