The Monday pipeline call that lost every other question
A ten-person sales team in Damansara ran their pipeline review on Teams every Monday at 09:30. Half the team sat in a glass room. The rest joined from cars and kitchen tables. Questions vanished. They had already bought new headsets.
We observed one live session, then ran a two-day packet loss assessment on the glass room and on two home links. The glass room was fighting the same channel as a neighbouring co-working floor. Two home links were clean. One home link on mobile data in a lift lobby was not, and that person had been treated as inattentive for months.
The team kept the meeting. They moved it to a side room with a cable, asked the lift-lobby colleague to sit still at a table, and stopped requiring six cameras. The lost questions were not a motivation problem.
